How to have your data removed.

01What we hold about you

• Your account details: email address, name, and sign-in information
• Your brand profile: business details, logos and photos you gave us, audience and positioning research, creative preferences
• Your conversation history with the Creative Director and the feedback you gave on posts
• The posts and images MetaClick made for you, and your content calendar
• Product-analytics data about how you used MetaClick
• If you connected an Instagram account: the account's identifier, username, profile picture, an encrypted access token, and the identifiers and links of posts MetaClick published
• Billing and payment records (card numbers are held by our payment processor, not by us)

02Delete your account and all of your data

1. Open Settings › User info and choose Delete my account. The confirmation step lists what will be removed and what will be kept, and asks you to type DELETE and confirm your sign-in.
2. After you confirm, your subscription is cancelled and your account, brand profile, conversation history, generated images and posts, analytics data, and any Instagram access token are deleted within minutes. You are signed out, and one email confirms it is done.
3. If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the email address on your MetaClick account with the subject line "Delete my data." We confirm the request within 3 business days, run the same deletion, and email you when it is done, within 30 days at most.

Records we are required to keep by law, such as payment and tax records, are retained for the periods described in our Privacy Policy and are not used for anything else.

03Remove only the Instagram connection

If you connected an Instagram account so MetaClick could publish your approved posts, you can remove that connection without deleting your MetaClick account:

• In MetaClick: open Settings, find the Instagram row, and choose Disconnect. This deletes the access token immediately and stops all publishing. Your approved posts stay on your calendar for you to download and publish yourself.
• In Instagram: remove MetaClick from your account's connected apps and websites. Meta notifies us, and we delete the access token and stop publishing.

Either way, the posts MetaClick already published stay on Instagram; to remove one, delete it in the Instagram app. We keep the identifiers of published posts with your calendar so it still shows what went out; they are removed when you delete your account.

04Requests sent through Meta

If you ask Meta to have your data deleted from apps you have used, and MetaClick is one of them, Meta forwards that request to us. We handle it the same way as section 3, and delete everything we hold that came from your Instagram account. If you want your whole MetaClick account deleted as well, follow section 2.
