Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 22, 2026

1. Introduction

MetaClick, Inc. ("MetaClick," "we," "us," or "our") operates an AI-powered marketing image generation platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our website and services.

By using MetaClick, you agree to the practices described in this policy. This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect registration details such as your email address, password, and name. If you sign in through a third-party provider (e.g., Google), we receive basic profile information from that provider, such as your name, email, and profile picture.

2.2 Brand and Business Information

During onboarding and campaign creation, you provide information about your business. This may include your brand identity, website URL, visual assets (such as logos and product photos), target audience, creative preferences, and other details that help us generate relevant content. This also includes conversation history from interactions with our AI assistant.

2.3 Usage and Generated Content

As you use our platform, we collect data related to the content we generate for you, including images, creative directions, and associated metadata. We also collect your feedback and preferences on generated content (such as which images you accept or reject), campaign activity, and general service usage data.

2.4 Payment and Billing Information

When you purchase credits, we collect billing-related information such as your transaction history and purchase details. Payment card information is collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card numbers on our servers.

2.5 Automatically Collected Information

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. Our website loads fonts and icons from third-party servers, which may involve those providers collecting standard connection data (e.g., IP address) in accordance with their own privacy policies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Generate AI-powered marketing images based on your brand profile and preferences
  • Analyze your feedback to improve generation quality over time
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Send transactional communications (e.g., account verification, password resets)
  • Send waitlist updates if you have joined our waitlist
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and protect against fraud or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Legal Basis for Processing

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK), we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contractual necessity: Processing required to provide the services you have requested, including account management, image generation, and billing.
  • Legitimate interest: Processing for service improvement, fraud prevention, and feedback analysis, where our interests do not override your rights.
  • Consent: Processing for optional communications such as waitlist updates or marketing emails. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • Legal obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable laws, such as tax recordkeeping or responding to lawful requests.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data with service providers that help us operate our platform — including AI providers, cloud hosting, and payment processing — as described below.

5.1 AI Service Providers

To generate images and power our creative pipeline, we share relevant portions of your data with third-party AI service providers. These providers may receive image generation prompts, style preferences, brand context, conversation history, feedback data, and website URLs, depending on the service being performed (e.g., image generation, creative direction, or business information extraction).

These providers process your data solely for the purpose of delivering their services to us. Your data is not used to train their AI models when accessed through their APIs. Your feedback (such as accepting or rejecting images) is used to improve your personal generation experience within the platform, not to train third-party models. A current list of our AI sub-processors is available upon request by contacting [email protected].

5.2 Other Disclosures

We may also disclose your information:

  • To comply with legal requirements, such as a court order, subpoena, or legal process
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of MetaClick, our users, or others
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case you will be notified of any change in ownership or use of your data
  • With your explicit consent

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

  • Account and brand profile data: Retained as long as your account is active.
  • Generated images: Retained until you delete them or your account is deleted. You can delete your images at any time.
  • Conversation history and feedback: Retained as part of your brand profile and campaign data while your account is active.
  • Payment and transaction records: Retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
  • Waitlist data: Retained until you request removal.

When you delete your account, we remove your personal data, brand profile, and generated images. Certain records (such as payment history) may be retained as required by law.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use only essential cookies for authentication and session management. These cookies are necessary for the service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or browser fingerprinting.

8. Your Privacy Rights

8.1 Rights for All Users

Regardless of your location, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data and request a copy
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Know what personal information is collected, used, and shared
  • Delete your personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

MetaClick does not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Data shared with AI service providers is solely for service delivery purposes.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data is processed in the United States. Our infrastructure is hosted on cloud servers primarily in US regions. AI service providers may process data in various jurisdictions. For users in the EEA or UK, transfers are conducted under Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved legal mechanisms to ensure adequate protection of your data.

10. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit, secure authentication, and access controls that isolate user data. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

11. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. By using our service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will promptly delete that information. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected].

12. Third-Party Links and Services

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. When you provide a website URL during brand profiling, we extract publicly available content from that URL to help build your brand profile. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (to the address associated with your account) or by posting a prominent notice on our website. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
